Abstract

614,602. Binding-posts. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and WILSON, C. A. July 17, 1946, No. 21447. [Class 38 (i)] [Also in Group XXV] In a terminal clamping screw of the type comprising a screw-threaded member 1 having a flanged part 3 on which is moulded a head 4 of insulating material, the head has a metal cap 8 fitted thereon and a number of circumferentially spaced grooves 5 into which fit corresponding inwardlydirected portions on the cap. The cap is slotted at 11 to receive a screw-driver, the edges of the slot being bent in at 12 to engage a slot 6 in the head.
