[Class 36] A condenser-type leading- in insulator of the kind disclosed in the parent Specification comprises a wound insulating web 3 having conductive coatings 4 which are not more than 10-4 cm. thick, which are sub-divided in the circumferential direction, and which extend to that edge of the web which will be submerged in the insulating liquid 5 when the insulator is mounted on a liquid insulated device. The end of the insulator that dips into the liquid 5 preferably has a bottle-neck form.
