Abstract

612,351. Washing boilers. BATE & CO.. Ltd., J., and FISHER, S. N. May 20, 1946, No. 15136. [Class 64(i)] In a domestic wash boiler 1 or the like with a draw-off tap or cock 4 accommodated within a recess in the surrounding casing 2, the recess is afforded by a dished plate 5 which is fitted into an opening in the casing, and the depth of the recess is. such that very little more than the outlet of the tap or cock projects beyond the wall. The whole of the tap may be accommodated within the recess. The dished plate may be shaped so as to receive part of the rim of a pail or other vessel. According to the Provisional Specification, the recess may be formed integrally with the casing.
