[Also in Group XIII] A baffle 15, which covers an electric sheathed heating element 7 near the bottom of a washing boiler 3 and causes the water heated by the element to flow into an upstanding conduit 10 having apertures 11, 12 directed towards the middle of the boiler, is pivoted at 14 so that it can be raised to give access to the element 7.
