[Class 138 (ii)] A wash-tub or boiler 14 in a casing 17 is installed against an end wall 18 of a sink 10 with the top of the wall 18 free to support a wringer 21. An agitator 30 on the boiler lid 20 is oscillated by a handle 34 through a toothed quadrant and pinion. Sink and boiler are served by a common waste pipe 13, and by the same tap 11 through a hose 26. A lid may also be provided for the sink, so that the whole can be used as a table. Specifications 13,778/98, [Class 138], 342,572, 405,748, 422,462, 442,967 and 446,117 are referred to.
