[Class 138 (ii)] A swivelling discharge-pipe C for a domestic mangling-machine is connected by a screw D to a central boss a of a bar or bars A extending diametrically across an aperture b, the screw passing through the discharge-pipe into a threaded recess a<SP>2</SP> in the boss and being adapted to lock the discharge-pipe in desired position when tightened. The discharge-pipe takes over a flange surrounding the aperture and has a projecting boss c entering a recess a<SP>1</SP> in the boss a. In a modification, the boss c is reduced in size and the recess a<SP>1</SP> is omitted.
