Abstract
611,701. Valve circuits for radio reception. PHILIPS LAMPS, Ltd. June 26, 1946, No. 19072. Convention date, May 30, 1940. [Class 40 (v)] A push-pull mixing circuit for ultra-short waves comprises a pair of diode-triodes, each having a common cathode, the triodes constituting a push-pull generator and the input oscillation being applied to the diode anodes. An impedance joining the cathodes is tuned to the local oscillator frequency and the output intermediate frequency is derived from a circuit connected between the mid-points of the impedances joining the cathodes and the diode anodes. The impedance joining the cathodes may be a Lecher wire system 20, 21 tuned by a bridge 22 earthed through the intermediate frequency tuned circuit 25 and the resistance condenser combination 26. The grids of the oscillator, as shown, are connected to a further Lecher wire system 12, 13.
