[Class 126] [Also in Groups X and XIII] A panel gas fire installation comprises a hollow panel of small depth with a front aperture for the insertion of a gas fire and an outlet for combustion gases at the rear. The panel is adapted to be placed against a wall of a building and comprises a back plate A and a front plate B between which channel stays D and E act as enclosing partitions: the stay E is located some distance above the lower extremity of the panel, so that the lower part of the panel may be cut away to suit the height of the room. The front plate has a rectangular opening C for the insertion of a standard gas fire and the back plate has an outlet G leading through the wall F to a ventilator terminal H.
