600,370. Gas turbines. LEITCH, W. R. Sept. 24, 1946, No. 24634/45. [Class 110 (iii)] [Also in Group XII] The combustion chamber 1 is fitted with a fuel injection nozzle 2, an air injection nozzle 3 and a water injection nozzle 4, the nozzles 2 and 3 being so relatively inclined that their produced centre lines intersect one another within the chamber and the nozzle 4,being so disposed that its discharge end is upstream of the point of intersection. The mixture of combustion gases and steam passes through ducts 5 to the turbine wheel 6.
