[Class 75 (i)] A burner head 3 fitted with a number of jets 9 preferably of the non- aerated flat flame type is threaded on an adaptor 6 of refractory or other heat-insulating material such as ebonite, the adaptor being externally threaded or bored to be a push-fit on the gas pipe. The head 3 may be fitted with a supporting plate 4.
