592,593. Turning. POLL, S. L. Nov. 4, 1944, No. 21640. [Class 83 (iii)] A tool-holder for lathes or the like of the kind having a curved recess into which fits a corresponding block for adjustment of the elevation of the holder is characterised in that the main shank portion 1, Fig. 1, is provided with a tool-carrying head 4 at one end and the shank behind the head is in two parts, the parts being clamped together in a tool rest, with the head portion projecting therefrom, by means of screwed pins bearing on the shank on each side of the fulcrum centre of the swivel block 3. Tool recesses and clamping screws are provided on both sides of the holder and a cross-opening 9 and clamping screw are provided for a boring- tool.
