Abstract

585,980. Agricultural implements. ATKINSON, T. Nov. 22, 1944, No. 23201. [Class 6 (i)] A frame 1, mounted on wheels 30, which are readily removable, carries tools comprising a central vertical plate 4 and two pivoted anglesections 5, arranged with their lateral portions upward. Supported on shafts 20 are cutting discs 19 which revolve immediately in front of each tool. The inclination of the tools 5 can be changed by a lever 15 moving a rack 14 by means of a pinion 16. The rack then turns the shafts 11 which operate the tools through the levers 8, 10. The frame may be raised by the skids 24, hand - operated by screw mechanism 25, 26.
