Abstract

589,814. Mechanical dibbers. PARDOE, G. H. Sept. 30, 1944, No. 18752. [Class 6 (i)] A mechanical dibber consists of a triangulated frame a supporting an axle c on which is mounted adjustably a plurality of discs m or the like having peripherally situated dibbers m<SP>1</SP>. Indirectly mounted on the axle c are road wheels d, by means of collar f and lugs f<SP>1</SP>. The axle c may be rotated by lever j actuating rods h and hence lugs g<SP>1</SP>, so raising or lowering the road wheels d and simultaneously raising or lowering main frame. The discs are adjustable by having collars o slotted into holes c<SP>1</SP>. A marker p is provided pivoted on the axle c and provided with stops q<SP>1</SP> and q<SP>2</SP>. The dibbers m<SP>1</SP> are provided with screwed stems and nuts, adjustable within slots in the periphery of the disc.
