[Class 144 (i)] A ground-engaging device for tractor wheels comprises a ring or series of segments 2 fitted with strakes 3 detachably secured to a support 1 on the wheel. As shown, the support consists of a spider attached to the wheel by hook-bolts 9, a flange on the ring &c. 2 being attached to the slotted arms 4 of the spider by bolts 6.
