[Class 35] In a dynamo-electric amplifier as in the parent Specification the self-excited and separately excited windings are so arranged that they have no mutual inductance. In the form shown, the separately excited and shunt windings 6, 7 are on separate field cores 4, 5 respectively, and as the windings 7 are not quite strong enough to enable the machine to self-excite at a specified speed, the output voltage can be made to vary with the voltage applied to coils 6.
