[A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Sept. 19, 1945.] [Class 35] - A dynamo has windings 3, 3<SP>1</SP> on the main poles 2, 2<SP>1</SP> connected in a closed circuit with auxiliary brushes 7, 7<SP>1</SP> while the auxiliary poles 4, 4<SP>1</SP> carry series coils 11 and separately-excited coils 21. The main poles may also carry opposing series coils.
