581,397. Work benches and vices. STEELE, G. A. May 1, 1945, No. 10994. [Class 61 (ii)] A pipe vice tripod stand with hinged leg 12 supported in extended position by a hinged tool tray and provided at the bottom with a folding foot board for keeping the tripod steady is adapted to have a bench vice 34 supported and secured on the horizontal platform 24 by means of a curved bracket 36, 37 having an upper cross-bar 41 adapted to take behind one of the pipe jaws 16 and secured to the bench vice by bolts 35 and carrying a lower cross-bar 39 engaging behind a plate 14 bolted across the two fixed tripod legs and secured to the slotted lower ends of the bracket 36, 37 by a bolt 38 and nut 40.
