665,937. Stands. DIRECTIE VAN DE STAATSMIJNEN IN LIMBURG. June 29, 1949. No. 17250/49. Class 52 (iii). A constructional set for making a retort stand comprises L-shaped uprights 4 adjustably mounted on a horizontal rail 16 under a slot 15 in a base member 14. The apparatus is held in position by means of clips 1 fastened to beams 2, C-shaped in cross-section and having holes to receive screws 2a. The C-shaped beams are fastened to the uprights by coupling members 3 having a portion 5 which, is inserted into the C-shaped beam and a fork 6 to straddle one limb of the upright. The coupling member is held in position by screws and the fork 6 may be angularly adjustable on the part 5 so that the beam may be mounted in an oblique position.
