Abstract
585,669. Displaying. HANSEL, C. W. Nov. 3, 1943, Nos. 18196/43 and 10208/44. [Class 3 (ii)] A table &c. 23 forming a horizontal support for objects or matter to be displayed, is fitted with a mirror 10 which reflects an image of the objects to observers in front. The mirror 10 is adjustable along the length, and if desired, also along the breadth of the table 23, and its inclination may be changed at will. Fig. 3 shows clamping bolt adjustment 25, 30 for the mirror 10 on a column 26 which can be clamped at 27 to the table 23 at any point along its length, but alternatively two columns 26 may be provided and the mirror slide along a shaft extending between them and adjustable vertically thereon. In another form the mirror is suspended by counterweighted cords passing over pulleys mounted on a shaft fitted with wheels running on two parallel rails. The object may be illuminated by tube lamps 33 and by lamps 34 provided with a reflector, 38.
