A demountable Work bench comprising front and rear fittings, legs detachably connected to each ot said fittings, a horizontal bar connecting said littings, a table top rigid with said Jfront itting adapted to support a vise, and Work supporting members detachably connected to said rear fitting and disposed at an angle to each other to form a Work supporting crotch.

A stand of the character described comprising a. vise-supporting member, a Work holder, said member and holder having depending socketed bosses, supporting legs seating in the sockets of the bosses, said member and holder also having horizontal sockets, and a coupling rod connecting said member and holder in longitudinally7 spaced relation, said rod seating in the aforesaid horizontal sockets, and the work holder be ing adjustable on thev rod toward and from the vise-supporting member. A stand of the character described comprising aA visesupporting member, a Work holder, said member and holder having depending socketed bosses, supporting legs removably seating in the sockets of the bosses, said member and holder also having horizontal sockets, and a coupling rod connectingsaid member and holder in longitudinally spaced relation, said rod removably seating in the aforesaid horizontal sockets,

and the Work holder being, adjustable on the rod toward and from the vise-supporting member.
