[Class 61 (iii)] A multi-jaw spanner comprises a bend 13 with a number of arms each provided with a nut aperture and having communicating slots 14 coacting with a headed stud 12 on the handle 10 so that the head may be moved outwards to disengage the arm 17 from the spaced lugs 16, then rotated to bring another arm into operative position and finally moved inwards to lock the opposite arm between the lugs 16.
