[Class 45] [Also in Croups XXV and XXVIII] A tube coupling, particularly for scaffolding or railings, comprises a bar 3 secured in a tube 2 and projecting into the end of an adjacent tube 1 and a pin 5 projecting through di metrical hole in the bar and having screwthreaded portions 10, 11 of different diameter engaging in screw-threaded holes in the opposite sides of the tube. In a modification, the pin is in two parts 15, 16, Fig. 2, each having conical heads engaging the openings 9, 18 in the tube, the screw 15 screwing into the diametrical hole in the bar 3 and the screw 16 screwing into a threaded tore 17 of the screw 15.
