[Class 78 (i)] [Also in Group XXXIV] A bearing for a conveyer-screw shaft comprises a sleeve a formed by two portions hinged together at f to embrace the shaft and having a spigot d secured in a hollow-stem g depending from and adjustably secured in a transverse member j carried on the upper edges of the conveyer trough c. The spigot may be formed by two butting halves opposite the hinge which have screw engagement with the stem. A lubricator i at the top of the stem g supplies a passage e in the spigot.' The cover plates for the trough c are attached to a plate k welded to and wider than the transverse member j.
