Abstract

1502903 Synchronizing conveyers EGYESULT IZZOLAMPA ES VILLAMOSSAGI RT 24 Oct 1975 43748/75 Heading B8A A device for maintaining the relative phase between semifinished articles on a chain conveyer 2 and tools or processing units on a rotary table 8 or a further conveyer 12 during variations in the effective length of the conveyer 2 comprises a linkwork connection 5 between a sprocket wheel 3 maintaining tension in the conveyer chains and the drive to the table 8 or conveyer 12. The drive to the table 8 or other conveyer includes a shaft coupling comprising a fixed sleeve 7 and a slidable sleeve 6 having interconnecting helicoidal bearing surfaces such that as the linkwork 5 moves the sleeve 6 in relation to the movement of the wheel 3 a turning of the drive shaft 9 results to ensure that the tools or processing units remain in phase as set with the articles on the conveyer 2.
