[Class 92 (i)] [Also in Group XXXVII] A motor, Fig. 2, driving a gun turret is controlled according to the speed of a handle which may drive a generator t, the output of which supplies the coils s of a pair of vibratory relays p, having contacts q and series resistances r, controlling reverse fields n of a generator m supplying the motor j. Alternatively, the handle may drive a centrifugal mechanism varying a rheostat in circuit with the fields n. The handle c, Fig. 3, not only drives the generator v but can also, through a doubleaction unidirectional clutch y, replace the motor in driving the turret. In a modification, the drives from the handle and motor are associated through an epicyclic gear.
