875,776. Hydraulic transmission systems. HYDREL A. G. Nov. 28, 1957 [Dec. 18, 1956], No. 37074/57. Class 69 (2). Three motors H 1 , H 2 , H 3 which may drive centrifuges Z 1 , Z 2 , Z 3 are supplied in parallel by a constant supply pump P driven by an electric motor EM, so that as each motor is braked at the end of its period of actuation, its rotational energy is used to charge up an accumulator D. Valve V 1 , for example, is set so that the pump P supplies motor H 1 until the motor reaches a fixed maximum speed, when it is alternated between two speeds by alternately short-circuiting it and supplying it from pump P, the switching being effected by an automatic centrifugal switch. To stop motor H 1 valve V 1 is set so that centrifuge Z 1 acts as a motor and motor H 1 acts as a pump supplying line L and hence accumulator D.
