Abstract

[Class 38 (i)] [Also in Group XXV] An electric cord grip consists of two levers b located at opposite sides of the cable or cord to be gripped, each of which pivot about a pin c so as to clamp the cable or cord against the fitting, the outer ends of the levers being bifurcated to pass screws e, the heads f of which engage the undersides of the lever ends, while the screws may engage threaded holes g in one end of the cover h of the fitting thus serving both to operate the levers and secure the cover in position. The cover is secured at its opposite end by hooking on to the other part of the fitting.
