573,967. Driving gear for roller mills; linkwork. BUHLER BROS. Aug. 19, 1943, No. 13525. Convention date, Aug. 11, 1942. [Classes 80 (i) and 80 (iii)] A roller mill having one roller adjustable to and from the other is provided with driving- means ensuring a uniform drive to the adjustable roller and comprising a gear on the stationary roller in mesh with a gear associated with the adjustable roller and coupled thereto by means of two links 11 connected to the gear and to the ends 12 of double-ended levers 13 carried by a cross-member 16 keyed to the shaft 3 of the roller, the other ends 17 of the levers being connected to a floating ring 18. The shaft 3 passes, with a clearance, through a hub formed on the gear case 7 carried by the bearing of the stationary shaft 2 and the machine frame.
