[Class 83 (iv)] Rollers 1 of rolling-mill feed tables rotating on fixed shafts 3 and driven by separate electric motors 14 have a change wheel gear 10, 11 between the motor shaft 13 and a shaft 8 carrying a pinion 7 which drives the roller by the internally toothed rim 6. The gear-box may be mounted on the roller support 4 as shown or may form the gear-box end of a geared motor, the shaft 8 being integral with the motor drive shaft or directly coupled thereto.
