Abstract
571,198. Transformers &c. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Jan. 10, 1944, No. 444. Convention date, Jan. 12, 1943. [Class 38 (ii)] Insulation from and anchorage to the casing of an electric induction apparatus comprising a magnetic core with air gaps, a coil and leads extending from the coil through openings in the casing enclosing the apparatus, consists, of three deposits of insulating cement 24, 25 on a flexible insulating pad 23, which in assembly between the core 10 and casing 20 results in the cement deposits flowing into the gaps 16 in the two outer core legs 12, 13 and surrounding the conductor leads 15 where they leave the casing at 22.
