569,544. Converting. WEIGHT & WEAIRE, Ltd., and BUCKLEY, E. S. Oct. 21, 1943, No. 17353. [Class 38 (ii)] In a vibratory switch inverter in which current flow in the primary winding 8 of a transformer is controlled by contacts 4, 5, auxiliary contacts 6, 7 are connected as shown in the secondary circuit and are arranged so as to break the latter shortly before the primary circuit is broken at the contacts 4, 5 and to remake it shortly after the primary circuit is re-made at contacts 4, 5, but without producing rectification of the secondary current. Thus, the primary circuit is not made and broken under load. In a modification, the contacts 2, 3 on the vibratory element are insulated from each other so. as to isolate the primary from the secondary circuit..
