568,706. Closures for tubes of paste or other containers. MONNET, G. June 16, 1943, No. 9615. [Class 125 (iii)] A closure for a container, e.g. a bottle or a collapsable tin tube for paste, comprises a cork, rubber or other elastic member 14 engaging by means of ribs 11 and grooves 10 with an outturned lip 9 of the container and apertured eccentrically at 17, and a hard cap 19 of metal, plastic, &c., apertured at 22 and engaging by a ribbed surface 13 with grooves 12 on the underside of lip 9 so that the cap can be rotated step-by-step to bring openings 17, 22 into coincidence for delivery of contents. The cap 19 and plug 14 may be domed and the base of aperture 17 may cover the whole lower surface of the plug 14.
