Abstract
568,502. Vaginal syringes. KARK, C. L. Dec. 28, 1942, No. 18418. [Class 81 (ii)] vaginal syringe for powders, tapers from the exit 6 to the outermost end 9, so that the outer end 9 may obturate the vaginal passage inwardly from its outer orifice. The taper increases continuously from the end 6, and towards the end 9 increases rapidly. The powder &c. is contained in a chamber 16 and emerges through a passage 4 communicating with its lower end. The chamber 16 is filled by removing screwed cap 9 and the powder &c. is projected by means of a rubber bulb &c. 17 provided with a valve 13. The bulb 17 is arranged to slope upwards and grooves 18 are provided for egress of air.
