749,691. Reciprocating pumps. DEB CHEMICAL PROPRIETARIES, Ltd., and WILLIAMSON, A. B. May 18, 1954 [May 18, 1953], No. 13900/53. Class 102(1). A reciprocating pump for dispensing pastes, &c., comprises a body 10 to which is attached a container 7 for the paste, &c. and in which slides a piston 2 having a hollow stem 3 having a nozzle 12 fitted with a non-return valve 15. A plug 4 is screwed to the body 10 and has passages 6 controlled by a disc valve 5. A spring 8 is fitted between the nozzle 12 and the body 10 and a non-return valve 17 allows air to enter the container 7.
