565,958. Hydraulic accumulators. BENDIX AVIATION CORPORATION. May 31, 1943, No. 8703. Convention date, Sept. 1, 1942. [Class 69 (ii)] In a hydraulic accumulator comprising a pressure 'vessel 10 in which a diaphragm or bladder 26 of oil-resisting synthetic rubber separates the air opening 40 from the hydraulic opening 24, an insert 44 of sintered powdered bronze or like porous material is fitted into the inner end of the air opening 40. The bladder 26 may have an internal bead 27 and a fabric patch 29 to cover holes 22 leading to the hydraulic opening 24.
