[Class 69 (ii)] In a bladder type accumulator having a non- collapsing bladder portion 31 and a relatively flexible portion 33, the latter has a flattened portion 32 to assist orderly collapse under hydraulic pressure applied at 14. The radius of the flexible portion progressively decreases towards the flattened portion so that it progressively contacts the shell 10 under air pressure applied at 26.
