604,731. Hydraulic accumulators. BENDIX AVIATION CORPORATION. Dec. 3, 1945, No. 32619. Convention date, Jan. 13. [Class 69 (ii)] In a hydraulic accumulator the bladder 17 is provided with spaced bosses 28 for initially containing the shell 10 upon distension of the bladder thereby providing paths for escape to the opening 11 of working fluid trapped between the bladder and the shell. A reinforcement 25 secured to the bladder opposite the opening 11 is provided with bosses 30 to define passages for escape of fluid into the opening when the bladder is pressed thereagainst, the reinforcement preventing extrusion of bladder material into said opening.
