Abstract

565,152. Transformers. PARMEKO, Ltd., MEE, S. N. S., and TOONE, F. J. May 11, 1943, No. 7482. [Class 38 (ii)] The core laminations 2 of small air-cooled signal current transformers are clamped between angle-sectioned members 3 bolted together and having their outwardly extending webs 3f bent over at the top and bottom to form lugs 3a, the lower ones forming feet and the upper ones forming supports for a terminal panel 7. Coverplates 12 shaped as shown in Fig. 7, are inserted between the clamping members on each side of the core so as completely to enclose the windings.
