599,915. Cores for dynamo-electric machines. ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING CORPORATION. Nov. 6, 1944, No. 21696. Convention date, Nov. 6, 1943. [Class 35] In a stator comprising a continuous peripheral laminated frame 18 with poles 16, cooling is provided by air-tubes 30 which are of insulating material and are forced between the windings, thus wedging them in place. The windings may comprise a pair of shunt windings 22, 24 and a series winding 26, all of which are located by arcuate bridges between the pole-tips. Specification 598,300 is referred to.
