560,783. Pistons. DEHN, F. B. (Thompson Products, Inc.). Sept. 14, 1942, No. 12948. [Class 122 (i)] In a piston-ring of the type comprising one or two flat split rings 1 and a corrugated oil-control ring 2, the corrugated ring has engagement with the flat rings at substantially close intervals and its side walls make an abrupt angle at the top and bottom thereof. The ring is cut longer than is required, so that its ends are in compression contact with each other.
