[Class 122 (i)] A split piston - ring is of wedge form with its sides 13 inclined to one another at an angle of between 7¢ and 15‹, and the dimensions being such that the ring can engage the bottom of its similarly shaped groove. The ring joint may be of the form described in Specification 489,215.
