578,715. Piston-rings. ILIFFE, G.July l9' 1944, No. 13776. Addition to 546,265. [Class 122 (ii)] In a piston-ring as claimed in the parent Specification in whict tenons 8 in the ring, ends engage slots 8a in a segmental member 11, the latter is provided with projections 15 to fit in recesses 14 in the ring whereby the ring and member 11 remain in assembled relationship when removed from the groove. The member is positioned in the groove by a pin 12 engaging a slot or hole 13 therein.
