557,506. Tool-holders. LAZENBY, T., and NEELANDS, A. R. Sept. 15, 1942, No. 13020. [Class 83 (iii)] A lathe or like tool-holder comprises a lower block A having side walls between which is mounted a cross-pin C engaging a verticallyelongated hole in a pivoted wedge B which is held down against the tool bit F carried in a recess in the block by an upper member D overlapping the lower block and enclosing the wedge. The play in the pivot of the wedge enables the latter to accommodate itself to engage firmly with the upper face of the tool bit.
