557,242. Thermionic valves. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd. May 9, 1942, No. 6286. Convention date, April 29, 1941. [Class 39 (i)] A cathode sleeve 3 has a bead 8 which rests against a mica spacer 6 when the end 9 is pushed through a hole in the spacer ; this end is squeezed together with a pair of pliers which causes sides 10 to fan out and grip the spacer between the bead and sides.
