Abstract

725,250. Thermionic valves. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd. Aug. 10, 1953, No. 22015/53. Addition to 692,770. Class 39 (1). An indirectly heated cathode sleeve 1 is passed through a hole in an insulating support member 3 until the latter bears against a stop portion 2, and then the whole of the projecting part is curled back on itself, as at 4, by a suitable tool, so that the sleeve is securely attached to the support. The widened end also facilitates the insertion of the heater.
