853,830. Cathode-ray tubes. FERRANTI Ltd. Aug. 21, 1959 [Aug. 26, 1958], No. 27285/58. Class 39(1). A cathode-ray tube has located between the pairs of deflector plates 4, 5 two apertured plates 6, 7 which are operated as an electron lens and which serve to adjust the sensitivity of the first pair of deflector plates. The apertures in the plates 6, 7 may be circular instead of rectangular.
