557,187. Lubricators. ARMITAGE, J. E. May 9, 1942, No. 6291. [Class 12 (iii)] Semi-solid lubricant is forced by compressed air from a chamber in or attached to a loose pulley, the air being compressed by the charging of the chamber with the lubricant. The member a, Fig. 2, has an annular recess a<SP>2</SP> forming a lubricant reservoir communicating by passages a3 with air reservoirs a<SP>4</SP>. Passages a<SP>5</SP> for the introduction of grease have grease-gun nipples a<SP>6</SP> or Stauffer cups. Annular recesses a<SP>7</SP> act as seals. The air reservoirs may be formed by radial projections from the ring member a, one charging passage being also provided.
