Abstract
613,985. Securing articles on shafts. SOC. ANON. DES ETABLISSEMENTS ISNARD FRERES. May 2, 1945, Nos. 11166 and 11167. Convention dates, June 5, 1942, and May 11, 1943. [Class 80 (ii)] In an arrangement for rapidly mounting and taking down parts on a shaft A between a shoulder H on the shaft and a fastening member, the part B to be mounted has a conical bore which is engaged by a divided cone C having a circular groove into which fits a shoulder D on a nut E screwed on the'shaft A to enable the cone to be withdrawn. Between the shoulder H and the part B other members such as a bearing J and a centrifugal lubricator K may be mounted. In a modification, the shaft may be formed with a conical portion which engages a corresponding conical inner face of the shell.
