[Class 122 (i)] In a scraper ring having an outer peripheral groove b and passages c extending therefrom. through the ring, the inner periphery of the ring is provided with an eccentric groove e of greatest depth opposite the split. The passages c may be larger in the part of the ring remote from the split.
