[Class 122 (i)] A scraper ring is pro vided in one radial face with tapering notches 13. The lower edge of the ring may be steppe( or otherwise recessed at 12 and the upper edge may be bevelled at 17 Two such rings may be arranged in a single groove, Fig. 6, with notched faces in juxtaposition.
